Summertime in Bronte Village!
This photo was snapped the other evening from the rooftop of The Shores, an impressive condo complex that enjoys both the serenity of a lakeside locale yet is mere steps from the heart of quaint Bronte Village with its plethora of shops, boutiques and dining options. The sailboats docked at Bronte Harbour and the tranquil blue waters of Lake Ontario are perfectly captured in this snapshot. Also pictured is beautiful Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park which will once again be hosting ‘Art in the Park’ this Monday, August 7th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. This is the 52nd edition of the Oakville Art Society’s premiere art show which attracts over 180 artisan exhibitors. The small admission fee that is charged enables the Art Society to subsidize programming and further local interest in the world of art. Taking place the weekend of September 29th in Bronte Village and in other towns across Canada, will be Culture Days 2017. The Bronte BIA Arts & Culture focused businesses will be featuring free, hands-on, interactive activities that invite the public to discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators and designers who work in their community.
